UNIFORMS
While "on duty" WWII period uniforms will be worn unless an opportunity arises to do a different time period photo shoot or forum. Duty hours are between 0800 to 1700. Clothing after dismissal is up to you.

WWII uniforms may be original items or authentic reproductions. Reproductions must be cleared with the authenticity officer before being used, but are actually recommended as clothing can take a beating at this event. We will not go into a lot of detail here, as most dedicated enthusiasts have a good working knowledge of what is appropriate wear and equipment.

A basic uniform recommendation for Army Air Force personnel is as follows:

Work Clothing
HBT coveralls or period flight suit, service shoes and proper headgear. Headgear must be worn at all times out of doors and should be removed when indoors!

Class C Uniform
These are the classic cotton khaki 'Suntans'. Due to the Summer temperatures involved, this combination is highly recommended.
Tan cotton Shirt & Trousers
Tie
Belt (enlisted - open face, officer - brass)
Socks (Tan)
Service Shoes or 'Low Quarters'
Tan cotton Overseas Garrison Cap (plain, or with applicable piping - blue & gold for AAF)

Class B Uniform
Shirt & Trousers (Pinks/Chocolate, OD)
Tie
Belt (enlisted - open face, officer - brass)
Socks (OD or Tan)
Service Shoes or 'Low Quarters'
Service Cap or Overseas Garrison Cap (plain, or with applicable piping - blue & gold for AAF)

Class A Uniform
Essentially, the same as Class B with the addition of proper Service Tunic with appropriate rank and insignia.

Note: U.S.N., Allied Airborne and other branches that are authorized shall dress as is deemed appropriate by their CO or authenticity officer.

Exceptions to the above recommendations include impressions for other allied nations, Luftwaffe personnel, Women’s Army organizations, Red Cross and WASPs. An authenticity officer will be assigned to approve these impressions and to settle any questions regarding appropriate attire.
